Minnie Schuler made this beautiful throw for her son. She drew and painted the gorgeous flowers that adorn each square! The squares are made from our tone-on-tone White Wildflowers print which make the perfect canvas for her artwork. Tonal Vineyard Yellow Green from our shop backs the quilt while the inside if filled with our versatile Hobbs Heirloom 80/20 batting. I quilted it in “Curly Swirly” for her using off-white thread. It’s just beautiful Miss Minnie! 🙂
Patsy Willis made this good-looking Gator & Golf themed throw as a birthday present for her son-in-law. It features an intriguing design that ties the colors of the University of Florida in with four unique golf prints! The green is the back with Amazon Green Marble quilt backing from our shop. Inside we used our premium Hobbs Heirloom batting to give it an ideal weight. I quilted it in “Hole in One” using white thread for her. A great throw and birthday present, Patsy! 🙂
Gennell Neel made this adorable throw featuring the Quilt Bees for herself. The colors she chose complement the panels perfectly! The two frames in black and lime green add depth and separate the parts of the quilt. The throw is backed with Blue Marbled quilt backing from our shop and I quilted it in Busy Bees for her. I love it, Gennell!
Patsy Willis made this catchy throw as a gift! It features a three-by-three block pattern in the center framed in black and bordered by a high energy zigzag print with loads of color which in turn is bordered in a pretty blue. It is backed with Tit-A-Whirl Turquoise backing and filled with soft Hobbs Heirloom batting, both from our shop. I quilted it for her in “Double Bubbles.” A really cute throw, Patsy! 🙂
Jeanne Brown made this grand Airplanes Throw for a special young man! The center panel depicts some great warbirds including the North American P-51 & T-6 along with the Boeing P-26 & PT-17 set in a field of stars. This is surrounded by a fantastic print with logos from airlines past, neatly framed by a blue geometric print. This in turn is bordered by aviation images and line drawings from over the years. Inside we used our soft Hobbs Heirloom batting and I quilted it in planes flying among the clouds. A magnificent throw, Jeanne! 🙂
Denise Matteoni made this adorable throw. It’s all about the cats!
The pictured cats are elegantly dressed with an East Indian flair, set against black and surrounded by concentric frames of complimenting prints including the cat print which matches the central panels. Our soft yet very stable Hobbs Heirloom batting fills the inside of the quilt. I quilted it in “Sitting Cats” with lime thread for her. You made an incredibly beautiful and special gift, Denise! 🙂
