Jennifer Darnell made this special throw for her mom. It is based on three different blocks pieced from a delightful variety of colorful prints. The bright colors she chose contrast nicely with the light blue print used for the sashing. Our soft & stable Hobbs Heirloom batting was used inside the quilt, and I stipple quilted it in purple thread for her. This is a wonderful throw, Jennifer! 🙂
Flora Humphrey made this intriguing Saw Blade Throw! The individual blade blocks join at the corners with a small nine patch “checkerboard” that combines with the sashing and border to create a captivating pattern of complimenting colors. I quilted it in “Twine” for her. This is a neat quilt, Flora! 🙂
Marcia George made this cute Sisters Throw that is all about the love of sisters! Lots of sweet sayings and pretty flowers artfully combined to express the bond that sisters share. She added a border of marbled lime green which along our Quilters Blenders Pink we used for the backing and binding makes a perfect frame! I quilted it in “Twinkling Hearts” for her and did the binding. A sweet throw, Marcia! 🙂

Ann Owens made this captivating Red Barn throw. The main panel features a picturesque red barn complete with big quilt block proudly displayed way up high! It’s backed with our Tilt-A-Whirl Brown quilt backing with soft Hobbs Heirloom batting from our shop on the inside. I quilted it in “Twine” for her using gold thread. This would be equally pretty thrown over the back of a couch or displayed on a wall! 🙂
Gloria Freeman made this impressive FSU Football throw! Featuring four different licensed Florida State University prints in a clever pattern framed with black then bordered in the garnet and gold, it is sure to please FSU fans everywhere! Our luxe Hobbs Heirloom batting was used inside the quilt sandwich. I quilted it for her in Footballs & Helmets with wine thread, then made the binding from an ornate garnet & gold print. Gloria, you scored a touchdown for sure with this one! 🙂
