Laverne McKenzie made this wonderful quilt featuring alternating flower blocks interspersed with green pinwheels. She framed it with a border of the same green print used in the pinwheels. It’s backed with Quilter’s Blenders Brick Red quilt backing from our shop. I quilted it for her in “Flights of Fancy” with turquoise thread. Great job, Laverne! 🙂

From I-10 take the Greensboro exit (174) and go south 3 miles on State Rd 12 to the center of Greensboro where you will turn left at the traffic light continuing south on State Road 12 for 2 miles. We are located on the left. Look for a fence with a row of American Flags on your left (if you are going south). We are the first driveway on the left past the flags. Just look for the building with the “Fabric & Quilts” sign. See you there! 🙂

Janet Sage made this beautiful Terrarium Quilt. The prints are so vivid! The sashing coordinates and contrasts and coordinates perfectly with the blocks as well. Inside I used our soft and stable Hobbs Heirloom batting and I quilted it in “Fancy 3.” Very nice, Janet! 🙂
I made this Bird Quilt with these beautiful songbirds that I cut from a small quantity of this fabric that we got in for stock. It sold out quickly! I framed the larger squares in black to make them pop and set them in on point a field of our Tone on Tone White Wildflowers material. It’s bordered with concentric strips of red, gold and blue prints to compliment the colors of the birds. I backed it with Tonal Vineyard Mint Green quilt backing from our shop and made the binding from the same red print used for the inner border. I quilted it in “Birds In a Bath” with red thread! 🙂
