Carole’s Double Christmas Tree Table Runner!

Share

Carole Hennen made this pretty Christmas Table Runner featuring double Christmas Trees joined by the star! The trees made of a print featuring Christmas lights are surrounded by snowflakes against a white background bordered by a red and white snowflake print. It’s backed with our premium Kelley Green solid and I quilted it for her in “Boxed Holly” using gold thread. This table runner will certainly make a table look a lot like Christmas! 🎄

Ruth’s Leaves Throw!

Share

Ruth Wade made this fetching Autumn Leaves Throw! The varied colors of the leaves set against the earth tones of the background in each diamond reflect the infinite colors of nature. The subtle print on the primarily white fabric of the border provides the perfect accent and highlights the quilting. It is backed with Rust Smoothie quilt backing from our shop and I quilted in “Red Oak” leaves for her. A perfect throw for this time of year, Ruth! 🙂

Jeanne’s Freedom Throw!

Share

Jeanne Brown pieced this red, white and blue Freedom throw as a surprise birthday present for her husband, Henry. Like many of Jeanne’s quilts the back is pieced as well as the front. On this Veterans Day may this beautiful throw remind us of what our Veteran’s served and sacrificed for. I quilted it in “Star Spangled” with gold thread for her. Jeanne, this is a handsome tribute to our country and all those who served!

Patti’s Pick-Up Sticks Quilt!

Share

Patti Spooner pieced this engaging Pick-Up Sticks Quilt! The white tone on tone squares features colorful pick-up sticks strowed across the quilt top. The back is our Quilters Blenders Blue Atoll while the batting inside is Hobbs Heirloom 80/20, also from our shop. I quilted it in “Twine” using purple thread and did the binding. This a fun quilt to look at, Patti! 🙂

Susan’s Stars & Stripes Quilt!

Share

Susan Tatum made this beautiful Stars & Stripes Quilt! The blue eight-point stars and red stripes are a variety of prints of each color set against a field of white made from several different white tone on tone fabrics. We used our premium Hobbs Heirloom batting inside and I quilted it in “Star Spangled” with red thread. It’s a real American treasure, Susan! 🇺🇸

Roseann’s Patriotic Strip Quilt!

Share

Roseann Sadler asked us to make her a patriotic quilt, so my son, Gerald Danford pieced this strip quilt for her in red and blue with lots of patriotic prints from our shop and white separating the colors in each row as well as a white border! Inside it features our luxurious Hobbs Heirloom batting, and I quilted it in “Star Spangled” for her using gold thread. I also made the binding using the same red with white stars material used for the back. Stars & Stripes forever! 🇺🇸
