Theresa Rischer made this striking quilt that features twelve Dresden Plates adorned with hand-stitched Yo-Yo’s neatly framed with an Irish Chain design. A double border of complimenting colors frames it nicely and focuses your attention inwards. There is a lot going on with this quilt and with all the pretty colors she chose it’s just a pleasure to look at! I quilted it in “Morning Glory” for her using ecru thread. This is a beautiful quilt, Theresa! 🙂
Minnie Schuler made this beautiful throw for her son. She drew and painted the gorgeous flowers that adorn each square! The squares are made from our tone-on-tone White Wildflowers print which make the perfect canvas for her artwork. Tonal Vineyard Yellow Green from our shop backs the quilt while the inside if filled with our versatile Hobbs Heirloom 80/20 batting. I quilted it in “Curly Swirly” for her using off-white thread. It’s just beautiful Miss Minnie! 🙂
Melanie Garcia pieced this stirring Half Square Triangle patriotic quilt with blocks made from half square triangles. There are lots of stars in this Red, White & Blue quilt! The patriotic sayings in the border complete the quilt top in a special way. It’s backed with our Brick Red Quilters Blenders backing and soft & stable Hobbs Heirloom batting is inside. I quilted it in “Star Spangled” for her in blue thread and did the binding with the same material used to back it. Let Freedom Ring! 🙂
Gennell Neel made this adorable throw featuring the Quilt Bees for herself. The colors she chose complement the panels perfectly! The two frames in black and lime green add depth and separate the parts of the quilt. The throw is backed with Blue Marbled quilt backing from our shop and I quilted it in Busy Bees for her. I love it, Gennell!
Jill Rigdon pieced this great Star & Interlocking Squares quilt in Red, White, and Blue! The central star and interlocked squares are set against a field of tone-on-tone stars in white. A red frame bracketed by blue stripes top, and bottom completes the effect. It is backed with a pretty Blue Blenders quilt backing from our shop. I quilted it in “Star Spangled” in red thread for her and made the binding from the same material that it’s backed with. A wonderfully patriotic quilt, Jill! 🙂
Marie Alday pieced this pretty (& funky!) Pink & Blue Quilt! She used a variety of prints anchored by the overall pink and blue theme to create the fun, whimsical effect. The marbled blue squares set on point are appliquéd, as are the matching triangles. Soft Hobbs Heirloom batting from our shop was used on the inside. I quilted it in “Glorious Crosses” for her and did the binding. This quilt just makes you smile! 🙂
