Shirley Clark made this delightful throw featuring colors of Christmas from 2 ½” strips sewed into big blocks. Even though these are not traditional Christmas prints, the colors and certainly make one think of Christmas time! The batting used inside the quilt is soft Hobbs Heirloom 80/20 and it’s backed with Tonal Vineyard Hunter Green quilt backing from our shop. I quilted it in “Curly Swirly” for her using lime green thread. Charming and colorful, Shirley! 🙂
Judy Neel made this queen size T-shirt quilt. She put it together without sashing and made it work! Though I like to do sashed T-Shirt quilts this is a technique which does enable you to get the most shirts into a quilt of a specific size. The quilt is filled with our soft, stable Hobbs Heirloom batting and I quilted for her it in the “Pipeline” design using light teal thread. A wonderful way to preserve those college memories!
Barbara Drake made this wonderful quilt with a gorgeous design in the center framed by our “Softie” lime green fabric. It’s bordered by with squares of the same prints anchored by pinwheel blocks in the corners. It’s filled with soft Hobbes Heirloom batting and backed with Tone on Tone White Sunburst quilt backing from our shop. I quilted it in “Curly Cues” with mint green thread for her. You made a beautiful quilt Barbara! 🙂
Betty George started this wildlife themed quilt featuring moose and deer surrounded by complimentary colors and asked me to finish it for her. It’s backed with our Tilt-A-Whirl Brown quilt backing with soft Hobbs Heirloom 80/20 batting inside. I quilted it in “Diamonds” with wine thread and was happy to help with this wonderful Christmas gift! 🙂
I made this Mardi Gras Quilt for my own bed. It’s queen sized with a long drape, almost king sized. It incorporates colors of Mardi Gras against a white background and I quilted it in a flower motif with purple wine thread. The quilt is backed with our Quilters Blenders Yellow Gold quilt backing and filled with our soft Hobbs Heirloom 80/20 batting. I love the way it looks on my bed! 🙂
