Angela’s FSU Seminoles Quilt Is Garnet & Gold Perfection! 🏈

Angela Rowan pieced this one, and it is a true Seminoles showstopper! Perfect for football season, this quilt is a celebration of garnet and gold.

The quilt top (65″ x 78″) is built from Florida State licensed prints — Seminole heads, helmets, spears and FSU logos — set in a bold block-and-sashing pattern with golden sashing, deep garnet blocks, and a textured gold-and-brown print that adds movement. A wide garnet border and a busy FSU print outer border frame it all beautifully.

I quilted it edge-to-edge in the All-Star Football design with black thread, so the footballs and flowing loops show up crisply on the gold areas while the stitching blends quietly into the rich garnet. It adds a playful football touch without competing with all of those wonderful prints.

Angela supplied her own backing, and Lady Bird Quilts supplied the Hobbs Heirloom 80/20 batting and the cotton binding, so this quilt is completely finished and ready to use — no extra steps needed on her end!
