Terry Morris brought me this fantastic Halloween throw, “Walk the Block,” and it was such a treat to have on my longarm! She pieced this sampler-style top with a great mix of stars, pinwheels, and nine-patch blocks, all in a classic trick-or-treat palette of black, orange, purple, and lime green — with candy corn, ghosts, bats, pumpkins, and spiders sprinkled through the prints.

I quilted it edge-to-edge in a Spider Web design, stitched out in a bright lime green thread that really pops against the darker fabrics. It felt like the perfect match for this one — a few extra “spiderwebs” scattered across a quilt that’s already full of them!

Terry supplied her own backing, and she’ll be adding her own binding once this one is home with her. A fun, festive throw to have on the frame this time of year!
