Debbie’s FSU Seminoles Quilt is Ready for Kickoff! 🏈🍂

Football season is officially here, and this one’s a real showstopper! Debbie Shephard pieced this bold strip-quilt throw from Florida State Seminoles fabric — garnet prints covered in university seals, pennants, and that unmistakable Seminole head logo — alternated with solid golden-yellow strips in a staggered, brick-style layout that gives the whole piece great movement.

I quilted it edge-to-edge in a fun design Debbie chose called Footballs — footballs (laces and all!) tumbling across the quilt with soft feathered accents, all stitched in a gold thread that plays right off those golden strips.

Debbie chose Garnet backing from our shop, we used Hobbs Heirloom 80/20 batting inside and I added the binding too — so this quilt is completely finished and ready to use, no extra steps needed on her end!
