Lynelle Hatton pieced this adorable Hearts & Patchwork quilt! The quilt features alternating blocks of hearts and patchwork squares surrounded by a border of red for the warmth of love. Hobbs Heirloom batting from our shop was used inside the quilt and it’s backed with our Antique Rose quilt backing. I quilted it for her in “Curl Circle” with off white thread and made the binding from the same material used for the back. A really cute quilt, Lynelle! 🙂
This charming Heart Quilt was made by Jeanne Brown. It features alternating squares of red and white squares in the shape of a heart surrounded by contrasting squares of white and off-white prints. The quilt is backed with our Red Tilt-A-Whirl quilt backing. I quilted it for her in “Ribbon Hearts” with red thread. It’s a beautiful quilt Jeanne! 🙂
This adorable little quilt was made for Jennifer Grantham’s granddaughter. Jennifer made the top with lots of love and I appliquéd the hearts made from clothes that belonged to her MawMaw, Grandaddy and Aunt Jes on the back. I quilted it in the Ribbon Hearts design then made the binding out of our pink quatrefoil material to match the top.
Michelle Martin brought me this beautiful quilt top which was hand embroidered and pieced by her grandmother, Sue Conwill. The intricate work in the embroidery is amazing! Michelle told me that it took her grandmother about 3 months to do. It is beautiful and I enjoyed quilting it for her, her dad and her grandmother. Michelle picked our Curls Swirls Sky quilt backing for it and I quilted it with the “Ribbon Heart” design. Thanks Michelle for bringing it to me!
