Melanie’s Birds & Blooms Quilt!

Melanie Garcia pieced this very attractive Birds & Blooms quilt that combines classic floral prints with beautiful birds in simple squares. Setting the smaller squares in off white enhances the vintage feel while the “Light Purple Flowers” backing from our shop (also used for the binding) ties in perfectly. The Hobbs Heirloom batting used inside also came from our shop. I quilted it in Posies using dark purple thread for her and I also did the binding. It’s an extremely nice quilt, Melanie! 🙂
