Cheryl Duval pieced this colorful Scrappy Strip quilt from strips of everything she had left over. It’s a kaleidoscope of colors sashed and framed in mini polka dots! I quilted it in “Curly Swirly” with eggshell color thread for her and made the binding from the same polka dot material used in the quilt. I just love all the colors, Cheryl! 🙂
Patti Spooner pieced this gorgeous quilt almost entirely from scraps leftover from other quilting projects! The large floral centerpiece surrounded by diamonds of beautiful prints in a myriad of colors. This field of color is sashed and bordered in white which in turn is framed by concentric borders of four beautiful and complimentary prints. Inside we used our soft, stable Hobbs Heirloom batting. It’s backed and bound with our Blue Tonal Floral quilt backing. I quilted it for her in “Fancy 3” edge to edge. Patti made another beautiful quilt with this one! 🙂
This is the very first quilt Betty Bryant has ever made! What’s more it is a scrap quilt! She made it all from scraps she had from other projects. The colorful cotton rectangles are sashed with black strips and surrounded by a black border which makes for a delightful contrast. The back is a whimsical and pretty bubble print that she sewed together. This quilt catches your eye! I quilted it for her in the “Double Bubble” design using turquoise thread. Betty did an exceptional job on this quilt!
