This Pretty Pinwheel Quilt was made by Lywanda Gallon for her daughter, Kayleigh! It features colorful pinwheel blocks made from a variety of cute prints including polka dots and flowers. It’s sashed with pink and has some amazing, personalized artwork in the center! I quilted it in butterflies with purple thread for her and did the binding in two different polka dot prints. A special quilt for a special daughter! 🙂
Terry Morris made this Patriotic Sampler with a variety of classic quilt blocks, including star and pinwheel variations. The colors and prints she used work together to make a great patriotic quilt!
We used our soft, stable Hobbs Heirloom batting inside and I quilted it in “Stars & Loops” for her with red thread. On this Memorial Day weekend, it seems fitting to share this beautiful project with you.
This is beautiful, Terry! 🙂
This pretty quilt top was handmade by Antionette Matthews’ mom. She asked me to quilt and bind it for her and I was glad to help her turn this beautiful hand sewn quilt top into a finished quilt to be treasured. Soft Hobbs Heirloom batting was used inside and it’s backed it with Amazon Green marbled quilt backing, both are from our shop. I quilted it in Hearts and bound it with the same material that it is backed with. This pinwheel variation is a special quilt! 🙂
Judy Rankin made this beautiful patriotic throw featuring a variety of red, white and blue patriotic prints. The pinwheel blocks are nicely framed by a border of stars. Inside we used our Hobbs Heirloom batting to make it soft and comfortable. I quilted it in “Swirls & Stars” then bound it using the same material used for the backing. Wonderfully done Judy! 🙂
