Just in time for the season, take a look at this beautiful patriotic quilt pieced by JoAnne Scafidi! Rich reds and blues in a variety of prints come together in simple vertical strips, with a scattering of appliquéd stars and a bold “USA” across the front that gives the whole piece such a fun, folk-art feel.

I meander quilted this one for JoAnne in white thread, which lets all those wonderful fabrics take center stage while adding just the right amount of texture. Inside, it’s filled with our soft & stable Hobbs Heirloom batting, so it’ll be as cozy as it is pretty.
