Jeanne Brown made this eye catching All Stars Quilt pattern from Missouri Star Quilt Co.. It’s made from 10” squares and 2 ½” strips. The bright colors against the black really pop! It has our soft Hobbs Heirloom batting inside and I quilted it for her in “Curly Swirly.” Nice job Jeanne! 🙂
Log Cabin In The Round Quilt!
Carolyn Finlayson made this extraordinary quilt! It’s a paper pieced pattern with lots of pieces. Her work is meticulous. I think part of what makes this quilt so interesting to look at is the block variations. I quilted it for her in “Curly Swirly” with royal blue thread. She did the binding herself after these […]
Half Log Cabin Quilt!
I saw a Half Log Cabin quilt and decided to make one for myself, so here is my take on it! I love the depth of this pattern. It’s backed and bound with our Turquoise Tonal Vineyard 108” quilt backing. Inside I used our comfy Hobbs Heirloom batting. I quilted it in “Curly Swirly.” I […]
Gennell’s Quilt
Gennell Neel has been a loyal customer of ours for some years and has become a wonderful friend. Recently she brought me a quilt top that her mother pieced. She wanted it made larger, quilted and bound but she didn’t want to do it… Gennell is a truly talented seamstress and quilt maker in her […]
Rainbow Floral Appliqué Throw!
Ann Owens made this incredible, vivid throw using the new Steam-A-Seam 2 fusible appliqué technique. She used a virtual rainbow of complimenting prints highlighted by the floral appliqués that are literally jumping out of their squares! I stipple quilted it in black for her. This throw is beautiful, Ann! 🙂
Floral Hexagon Quilt
Laverne McKenzie made this charming Hexagon styled quilt. Incorporating complimenting floral prints and colors, it’s a beautiful reminder that quilt blocks don’t have to be square! By separating the exquisite border from the hex blocks with white she added contrast that really makes it an eye-catching work of art. I quilted it for her in […]
Jeanne’s Peacock Quilt!
Jeanne Brown made this gorgeous Peacock Quilt, the peacock panel in the center is surrounded by squares of complimenting prints, framed in black and bordered with a beautiful print in matching colors. I quilted it for her in “Birds in a Bath.” It’s truly beautiful Jeanne!
