Butterfly Window Pane Quilt

Donna Briesacker made this beautiful Window Pane quilt for the daughter of a friend of hers who recently passed away.  The lady loved butterflies and had quite a number of pretty butterfly prints in her fabric stash so Donna made this wonderful quilt for the daughter out of her mom’s fabric!  She backed it with another colorful butterfly print her friend had and I quilted it all in Butterflies for her.  It’s captivating how your perception of where the sunlight is coming from changes depending on which side you view the quilt from.  Donna did a wonderful job with this quilt!
