Cheryl Duval pieced this colorful Scrappy Strip quilt from strips of everything she had left over. It’s a kaleidoscope of colors sashed and framed in mini polka dots! I quilted it in “Curly Swirly” with eggshell color thread for her and made the binding from the same polka dot material used in the quilt. I just love all the colors, Cheryl! 🙂
Carole Hennen made this colorful Batik Strip quilt as a gift for her daughter-in-law. The strips are all batiks from our shop bordered with a cool green frame. She machine embroidered the date on the bottom. The quilt is backed with our Sapphire Blue quilt backing and wonderful, long lasting Hobbs Heirloom batting is on the inside. I quilted it in “Diamonds” for her with Royal Blue thread. A beautiful quilt, Carole! 🙂
Abigail Taunton made this awesome Scrappy quilt from strips as a Christmas quilt, but the pattern and colors work so well together that it will look great anytime of the year! I used our soft, stable Hobbs Heirloom batting i9nside the quilt sandwich and it’s backed with Turquoise Blue Paisley quilt backing from our shop. I quilted it in Dragonflies with lime green thread for her. A pretty quilt, Abigail!
Shirley Clark made this delightful throw featuring colors of Christmas from 2 ½” strips sewed into big blocks. I quilted it in “Curly Swirly” for her using lime green thread. Charming and colorful, Shirley! 🙂
Patti Spooner pieced this bright quilt from a number of different batiks set against white and bordered with a beautiful blue blender print. We have many of these batiks in stock right now! Inside we used our soft Hobbs Heirloom 80/20 batting, the backing is our Green Branches 108” quilt backing and I quilted it for her in “Pipeline B” using blue thread. The binding I made from one of the same batiks used in the quilt. You pieced a beautiful, cheerful quilt Patti! 🙂
Diane Meagh pieced this sensational Vegas Strip Quilt! It features colorful fabric strips and shapes, many of which are trapezoidal creating a sense of perspective. Especially the black for the Vegas Strip. Altogether this quilt is an explosion of color and contrast just like Las Vegas itself! I quilted it for her in “Star Spangled Banner” using black thread. This quilt is definitely an eye catcher, Diane! 🙂
