Betty George pieced the center section of this Summer In The Park quilt and then at her request I added to it, matching her pattern with different pinks to turn it into a king sized quilt. It’s bordered in white and the same deep pink print used in the sashing of the outer portion. The […]

Lighthouse Throw!
I made this Lighthouse Throw with my sister, Iris. It’s made with a pretty lighthouse print from our shop with a sky blue print above and beach sand below. I quilted it in clouds for the top, waves in the middle and seashells at the bottom. The batting inside is Hobbs Heirloom for a comfortable […]
Jennie’s Garden Quilt
Barbara Drake pieced this magnificent quilt from many squares of different fabrics that have a special meaning. The squares that make up the border are rotated 45 degrees to those that make the pattern itself. Simple and beautiful but a lot of sewing! I quilted it in Daisies for her. It’s backed with our 108” […]
Japanese Garden Throw
Denise Trudeau Matteoni made this beautiful Japanese Garden throw! It incorporates Japanese floral prints in a water block style surrounded by shades of purple and black. We used our Hobbs Heirloom 80/20 batting inside and I quilted it in a “Moth & Rosebud” design with lime green thread. This is gorgeous, Denise! 🙂
Dahlia Quilt!
Mary Black made this stunning Dahlia Quilt. The beautiful flower is framed with the same floral prints she pieced the flower with. I “stitched in the ditch” with the lines in the flower and around the square, then filled in the rest with butterflies. Truly gorgeous work Mary! 🙂
Star Spangled Quilt of Valor
Betty George pieced this vivid Quilt of Valor using patriotic prints of red, white and blue. It’s backed with our Quilters Blenders Poinsettia Red and has Hobbs Heirloom 80/20 batting inside. I quilted it in “Star Spangled” using gold thread and made the binding from the same material used for the backing.
Anniversary Cross Quilt
Tyler Sadler asked us to make this Cross Quilt as a gift for his wife on their 2nd Anniversary, which we were happy to do! Their names are embroidered below the cross and we incorporated the colors he asked for into the quilt. It’s backed and bound with our Quilters Blenders Yellow Gold quilt backing. […]
