Breast Cancer Awareness Month continues with another beautiful throw by Angie Pitts. This one is similar to the previous one she did but with the addition of pink squares set on point in the center and corner blocks. Our soft Hobbs Heirloom batting fills the inside and I quilted it with the Breast Cancer Awareness Ribbon and did the binding for her. A beautiful throw for a most important cause Angie!
Angie Pitts made this beautiful throw as a special gift for a woman fighting breast cancer. The design in blue-green and white and colors showcase the pink quilted Breast Cancer Awareness Ribbons. It is bordered with a complimenting pink print and backed with a pink floral print from our shop which I also used to make the binding. I was glad to quilt and bind this special throw, Angie.
Peggy Allen made this eye-catching quilt with pretty pink and blue prints in a geometric design set against a field of yellow green and framed with the same bold blue print used in the design. The quilt is filled with our soft, warm Hobbs Heirloom batting and backed with Quilters Blenders Navy Blue 108″ quilt backing from our shop. I quilted it in “Willowy Weeds” with hot pink thread then made the binding from the same pink material she used. Super job, Peggy! 🙂
Sharon Hauke made this adorable jelly roll throw for her daughter. It’s made from a jelly roll of vibrant pink prints connected by turquoise squares. The throw is backed and bound with a wavy striped turquoise print from our shop. Inside the quilt is our Hobbs Heirloom batting which makes it nice and soft without being too heavy. I quilted it in a loose stipple for her and did the binding. A fun and delightful project!
