Bright & Beautiful Flowers Quilt by Cheryl!

We’re happy to share a beautiful quilt from Chery Duvall with you today! This vibrant and cheerful design is a harmonious blend of traditional pattern and contemporary fabric style, resulting in a piece that will brighten any room. The foundation of this quilt is a lovely, repeating block that creates a wonderful lattice effect. She used a mix of fabric blocks, including a beautiful floral print with striking navy, sunny yellow, and warm orange, and blue blooms. This is balanced by blocks of solid navy, a lively green and blue mottled print, and a rich olive green solid, all set apart by generous sashing. The sashing is a true standout, a vibrant, multi-tonal yellow with hints of pink and orange. It acts like a burst of sunshine, making the entire pattern pop and giving the quilt a light, airy feel. The combination of the dark navy and bright florals with the rich greens and sunny yellow makes for a truly captivating color palette.

I quilted it in “Birds In a Bath” for her and did the binding. This is a very pretty quilt, Cheryl! 😊
