Terry’s Colorful Batik Strip Quilt!

Terry Morris made this vibrant quilt with colorful batik fabrics which are known for their varied patterns and deep hues. We carry a nice section of batiks in our shop! The quilt features a geometric design with a series of interlocking rectangular and square blocks. The fabric strips are arranged in a way that creates a sense of movement! She incorporated small white tone-on-tone squares and triangles which provide contrast and help to define the individual blocks or sections of the quilt. Our soft Hobbs Heirloom batting was used inside the quilt “sandwich,” and I quilted it in dragonflies for her. It’s a very uplifting quilt, Terry! 🙂
