Patti’s Stars & Octagons Quilt!

Patti Spooner pieced this colorful Stars and Octagons quilt and stitched it entirely by hand! The stars were made from a kaleidoscope of bright prints in diverse colors which just pop against the Tilt-A-Whirl black tone-on-tone used for the octagons. The quilt is backed with our Tonal Vineyard Yellow-Green 108” quilt backing with soft Hobbs Heirloom batting from our shop filling out the inside. I quilted it in an Asian Fan design using orange thread. I also did the binding for her, making it from the same material used for the back. This is a dramatic quilt, Patti! 😊
