Patti’s Sampler Deluxe Quilt!

Patti Spooner pieced this super inviting Sampler Quilt! The four by five sampler in the middle is sashed and framed with a tone-on-tone print that highlights the blocks nicely. This is framed by a variety of square and rectangular blocks which in turn are bordered by a band of rich burgundy. I made the binding of the same Kelly Green Grunge Paint material (from our shop) that it’s backed with, giving the binding a nice contrast with the border. I quilted it in “Bird Bath” for her using dark gold thread. It is a very nice sampler, Patti! 🙂
