Abigail’s Layer Cake Custard Quilt with Pillows!

Abigail Taunton made this delectable Layer Cake Custard Quilt with matching pillows! This layer cake friendly pattern by the Fat Quarter Shop has a clean, contemporary look and lends itself well for use with different fabrics even larger prints. In this quilt, small floral prints are set against a field of white surrounded by a border of a khaki print that nicely pairs with all the colors used in the quilt. The quilt is backed with Quilters Blenders Gold 108” quilt backing from our shop and our soft Hobbs Heirloom batting is inside the quilt sandwich. I quilted it for her in “Diamonds” with wine thread. The quilt and pillows make a lovely set! 🙂
