One of Aletha’s Tie Quilts!

Aletha Medina asked us to make five quilts from her late husband’s ties for their children and grandson, this is one of them. Each kid picked out one tie they liked and that one is in the middle. I cut the ties out, Pam Miller pieced the quilt tops, then I did the quilting and binding. This one is quilted in “Double Bubbles” with bright blue thread, it is backed with Quilters Blenders Gold quilt backing and filled with Hobbs Heirloom batting from our shop. 🙂
