Pockets Wall Hanging for Lois
I made this wall hanging for Lois Duncan from her late husband, Spencer Duncan’s shirts. It was the perfect way to save them so she and their daughters and grandchildren could see and enjoy them, remembering his love for his family. Mr. Duncan was a farmer and cattleman in Whigham, GA known for his award winning purebred Angus cattle. Inside I used our stable Hobbs Heirloom batting and backed it with Tilt-A-Whirl Natural quilt backing from our shop. I quilted it in lines along the rows and around the pockets. A tribute to a wonderful man for his wife and family. 🙂
