Heirloom Six Pointed Star Quilt

This quilt top was pieced by Phyllis Pierce’s grandmother many years ago. It had never been quilted so she asked me to make it a bit bigger for a queen size bed then quilt and bind it for her. I bordered it in red and black to showcase the work and colors in the quilt top. The quilt is filled with soft and stable Hobbs Heirloom batting from our shop and backed with our Quilters Blenders Poinsettia Red quilt backing. I stipple quilted it and made the binding in black to tie it all together. I’m happy to be able to help preserve the beautiful work of earlier generations! 🙂
