Completion of a Family Heirloom!

This quilt was pieced by Harold Clark’s grandmother years ago. It even survived a fire. He brought the quilt top to me and asked if I could finish it for him which I was happy to do. I used our Hobbs Heirloom 80/20 batting and backed it with our 108” Antique Rose tone on tone quilt backing. At his request I quilted it in a simple 2” grid to simulate how his grandmother would have quilted it by hand. I made the binding from the same material as the back. Glad to be able to finish this and bring it to life for him! 🙂
