Gerald’s Granny Quilt

I made this quilt for my son, Gerald Danford who asked me to make him a quilt like his “Big Granny” (great grandmother), Audrey Maphis made. It’s simply all squares from a little of everything with one special block made by my granddaughter (his niece), Alisa Humphrey when she was 8 or 9 years old. It is backed with our Tonal Vineyard Emerald Green quilt backing and filled with Hobbs Heirloom 80/20 batting. I quilted it with the Stars & Wavy Banner design. It does look a lot like one of Granny’s quilts! 🙂
