Quilt for Graduation!

This quilt was made for my grandson, Ryne as a graduation gift. My sister, Iris Melvin and I both made squares, she sewed the squares together and I did the quilting. We decided to depict his life as well as his loves. He enjoys playing baseball and watching football. It is designed in in his school colors as well as his favorite colors. I enjoyed quilting each square to match what is in the square. I then locked it all together with diamond shapes.. The individual squares were quilted with footballs, baseballs, bats, gloves and helmets as well as hearts. It was a joy to quilt and a real joy to present to him!
