Patti Spooner pieced this incredible Gypsy Wife quilt from her odds and ends! The lovely pattern is nicely framed by a bold border of red which ties into the bits of red used throughout the blocks and strips. The batting inside is our soft & stable Hobbs Heirloom while the backing is a gray tonal batik from our shop. I quilted it for her in Keryn Emmerson’s “Rambling Hearts.” I did the binding with the same material it’s backed with. This is a delightful quilt, Patti! 🙂
Diane Elliot made this gorgeous Seashells Quilt! It is made with strips which are cut then cut again and sewed together so it looks like Seashells. She and I agreed it just seemed a natural to quilt in this beautiful Sea Turtle design so that’s exactly what I did! You made a spectacular quilt Diane! 🙂
Jeanne Brown made this eye catching All Stars Quilt pattern from Missouri Star Quilt Co.. It’s made from 10” squares and 2 ½” strips. The bright colors against the black really pop! It has our soft Hobbs Heirloom batting inside and I quilted it for her in “Curly Swirly.” Nice job Jeanne! 🙂
Ruth Wade made this catchy looking throw from strips and squares of various prints, mostly cool and natural colors bordered with a colorful batik. It just catches your attention! Inside we used our soft, easy to work with Hobbs Heirloom batting . The throw is backed with our Harvest Gold Tonal Vineyard quilt backing and I quilted it for her in “Curly Swirly” using dark turquoise thread. I love the colors!
Jeanne Brown made this bright & colorful quilt with all the colors of the rainbow and possibly a few more! It’s made with colorful solid 2 ½” strips put together with our Tone on Tone White Circles fabric. The batting inside is Hobbs Heirloom 80/20 (available in our shop) for a nice, soft feel. I quilted it in “Double Bubbles” with purple thread. This is simply bright and cheerful, I love it!
Jeanne Brown made this cheerful, eye catching strip quilt. The bright strips of floral and geometric prints are surrounded by a frame of fuchsia and it just grabs your attention, I love it! It’s backed with a deep blue tonal floral print and I quilted it with Butterflies & Roses using yellow green thread for the top with yellow on the back.
This beautiful quilt featuring blocks of alternating patterns surrounded by strips in various shades of purple was made by Jo Johns. She chose our tone on tone white sunburst quilt backing and I quilted it in a stipple design. I understand she made it for auction, so somebody will certainly get a wonderful quilt!
