This throw was made by my sister, Iris Tye Melvin for her son Tullis Tye. It showcases some of the important things in his life and was made with a mother’s love. I quilted it in the Diamonds pattern.
Girls like the Power Rangers too! I made this one for my granddaughter Alisa Danielle Humphrey who loved the Power Rangers every bit as much as her brother when they were kids. The appliqués are from fabric bought and stashed away by their great-grandmother who knew they both loved the Power Rangers. The Rangers are appliquéd on 10 1/2 inch squares. It is backed with our Quilters Blenders Light Pink 108” quilt backing and the batting is Hobbs 80/20 Heirloom. I quilted it it in Ribbon Hearts for her. 🙂
