Log Cabin Throw

Share

Julia Cater made (or re-made) this traditional Log Cabin pattern in a throw size while in college and did a great job with it. There’s a lot of pieces in this quilt top! Inside we used our soft Hobbs Heirloom batting and the throw is backed with our Flowy quilt backing in Gray. I quilted it in “Spring Flowers” and made the binding from the same material used for the backing. Keep up the good work Julia! 🙂

Libby’s Easter Throw!

Libby Shepard made this precious Easter Throw featuring the Easter Bunny and lots of eggs! The four bunnies and all the Easter eggs are sashed with pink material with small white polka dots. Just perfect! The throw is backed in our purple Tilt-A-Whirl quilt backing which I also used for the binding. I quilted it in bunnies and hearts for her. Happy Easter! 🙂

Purple & Green Throw!

Share

Libby Shepard made this Purple & Green throw that just pops with color! She used two alternating blocks that incorporate both appliqué and embroidery. The blocks are framed by concentric borders of white, purple and lime green. Our soft Hobbs Heirloom batting is inside the quilt and it’s backed with our Tilt-A-Whirl Purple quilt backing. I quilted it in “Flights of Fancy” and made the binding from the same material it’s backed with. This throw just smiles at you and seems to say “Spring is Here!” 🙂

Amazing Grace Throw

Melissa Gilley saw this quilt top for sale online, she thought it was beautiful so she ordered it and brought it to me to quilt after it came in. I don’t know who made it, but they did a wonderful job! Inside the quilt sandwich I used our soft Hobbs Heirloom batting and for the backing we used Tilt-A-Whirl Natural which we stock in the 108” width. I quilted it in Musical Notes for Melissa, then made the binding from the same material it’s backed with. I think it’s beautiful too and I’m glad Melissa loves how it turned out! 🙂

Fishing Throw!

Patsy Willis made this fishing themed throw from a set of vivid pillow panels framed with black and surrounded by a gorgeous green print that goes perfectly with the colors in the panels. Inside we used our soft Hobbs Heirloom batting and I quilted it for her in Large Curls. The cool green tones are soothing and beautiful! 🙂
