Gennell Neel made this gorgeous throw featuring beautiful blue floral prints in simple squares and strips. The dark blue border adds contrast and makes the flowers bloom! I quilted it for her in “Stella’s Flowers.” She makes wonderful quilts! 🙂
Carolyn Pilcher made this delightful quilt featuring squares of various purple, green and off-white prints & solids surrounded by a field made of a light purple and green floral print. The inside is filled with our soft Hobbs Heirloom batting. I quilted it in the Fancy Three design and did the binding for her. A beautiful quilt, Carolyn! 🙂
My sister, Iris Tye Melvin made this patriotic throw from a Jelly Roll of patriotic prints from our shop. The squares connecting the strips and the border are our White Circles tone on tone print by Santee. The back and binding are Poinsettia Red Quilters Blenders which we carry in 45″ & 108” widths. Inside the quilt sandwich we used Hobbs Heirloom 80/20 batting for a nice feel. I quilted it in “Stars & Loops.” If you like this throw and don’t want to make one like it, this one is for sale in our shop for $300. 🙂
Sharon Neel Hauke made this beautiful Red, White and Blue patriotic throw for her uncle who is a veteran. She surrounded the American Eagle panel with squares and blocks of patriotic prints sashed with white then bordered with red and blue. The batting inside is our soft, natural feeling Hobbs Heirloom 80/20 and the back is made from a blue Quilters Blenders print from our shop. I quilted it in a Quilt of Valor design. Sharon, this is a wonderful and enduring tribute to his service!
Patti Spooner made this wonderful quilt for her daughter with Grandma’s handkerchiefs beautifully appliquéd in each block. I quilted it for her in the Fancy Three design. The inside is filled with our soft Hobbs Heirloom quilt backing and it’s backed with our Tone on Tone White Wildflowers quilt backing. Patti, you gave her a priceless gift to treasure forever!
Barbara Drake pieced this magnificent quilt from many squares of different fabrics that have a special meaning. The squares that make up the border are rotated 45 degrees to those that make the pattern itself. Simple and beautiful but a lot of sewing! I quilted it in Daisies for her. It’s backed with our 108” Antique Rose Quilt Backing and the batting is Hobbs Heirloom. Very nice Barbara! 🙂
