It’s quilted with orange and brown thread in Twinkling Pumpkins. Inside is our soft Hobbs 80/20 batting. This 35” x 57” throw is on sale in our shop for $150.

Pat Hammitt’s mother-in-law hand embroidered and painted these beautiful squares with adorable dolls from around the world then stripped them together with pink fabric. I added a border of Tonal Vineyard Yellow and used Tonal Scroll Wine to make the back and binding for Pat & Mike. The squares are quilted in scroll and twine designs with leaves running thru the sashing. I just love the colors she used in her embroidery! 🙂
I made this one for myself! The throw features dolphins, whales, salt water fish and a sea turtle with cool ocean colors created with Marblecious and Quilters Blenders prints from our shop. There is also a bit of the beach! It’s backed with our Sapphire Blue Quilters Blenders quilt backing. I quilted it in Seashells & Sand Dollars. Sometimes you just need to think about the beach… 🙂
This lovely throw was made by Melissa Gilley as a gift for her mom on Mother’s day! Her mom loves birds so it is filled with song birds on which she appliquéd meaningful bible verses and sweet sayings. I quilted it in the “Birds In a Bath” design with gold thread and made the binding from our Tonal Vineyard Yellow Green 108” material. You did a great job Melissa! 🙂
Update 8/11/16 – The Cross Quilt has been sold but you can order one like it!
My sister, Iris and I made this block pattern Cross Quilt from 3 1/2” squares. It’s backed with backed with our Quilters Blenders Yellow Gold quilt backing and has Hobbs Heirloom 80/20 batting inside. I love this batting (that’s why we sell it!). I quilted it in a Sunburst. This quilt would make a wonderful gift! At 63” x 72” it is a large throw and is for sale in our shop for $300.
I made this throw for my grandson, Zack Humphrey. He likes this proud indian as much as I do so I framed the panel in special colors from our stock and backed it with our 108” Flowy Gray quilt backing. I quilted it in the Flying Stars Chevron design and it has our Hobbs Heirloom batting inside to keep him warm on those late nights in his big camo recliner! 🙂
