This is a large Log Cabin Cross Throw (it measures 60” x 82”) that my sister Iris and I made. It features a floral print in the center of the cross echoed with complimenting colors of coral, light sage green, purple and the same floral print repeated. It is bordered with the same solid colors. The back and binding is made from our Petal Flow Purple quilt backing. I quilted it in Sunrays with gold thread and it has our soft Hobbs Heirloom 80/20 batting inside. This one is for sale in our shop for $400 if you are interested in it. We accept credit cards and will gladly ship via USPS Priority Mail.

My sister, Iris Tye Melvin made this spectacular Coca-Cola throw for her daughter-in-law, Beth Tye who loves Coca-Cola collectibles! The center of the throw is a gorgeous Coca-Cola panel she found surrounded gray blenders sashed with black to capture the look of the weathered siding on the old general store, then red (for Coke!) and finally piano keys made of different fabrics including two Coca-Cola prints. I quilted it in “Soda-n-Caps” for her. The perfect gift for a Coca-Cola girl!
Betty George pieced this charming outdoorsy quilt featuring a print with canoes, bears, squirrels, fish and much more… Just the thing to snuggle up under on these cold winter nights! The traditional pattern is perfect for this quilt. Inside it is filled with our soft, not too light, not too heavy Hobbs Heirloom 80/20 batting. I quilted it in the “Autumn Leaves” design with gold thread and made the binding from the same material used for the back. Great job Betty!
Brenda Jowers made this festive Christmas themed throw featuring a beautiful buck and doe surrounded by the colors of Christmas in various seasonal prints. It’s perfect for use as a lap quilt to stay warm on these chilly nights! It’s filled with our soft Hobbs Heirloom 80/20 batting and backed with flannel. I stipple quilted it for her. Very Merry and Cheerful Brenda! 🙂
Bonnie NeSmith asked us to make this quilt as a retirement gift for Dalen Guthrie from her staff in the Jackson County Clerk’s Office. The quilt features the embroidered emblems on the leftover polo shirts the staff wore. The balance of the quilt is done in garnet & gold, the colors of Florida State University. It’s filled with our soft Hobbs Heirloom 80/20 batting and is backed & bound with the same Quilters Blender Gold used in the top. My sister Iris pieced the top, I stipple quilted it and made the binding. We wish Dale a Happy Retirement!
Gwen Cook made this precious western themed quilt featuring a mare and her foal for her granddaughter, Mary Kate. The central square is surrounded by contrasting triangles of paisley prints. She also added some wonderful machine embroidery to personalize the quilt. It’s filled with our soft Hobbs Heirloom 80/20 quilt backing and I quilted it in horses using lime green thread. This is lovely Gwen!
