This cuddly child size Caterpillar quilt was made by Patsy Willis for her grandson. It’s made from an Eric Carle panel freedom in black surrounded by lots of lush green for the caterpillar to eat! Patsy backed it with an engaging numbers print and I quilted in the Metamorphosis design. 🙂
Jo Johns made this amazingly realistic Attic Window quilt from a Realtree deer panel and three solid colors to produce the attic window effect. It’s backed with our 108″ Tonal Vineyard Natural Khaki quilt backing and has Hobbs Heirloom 80/20 batting inside. I stipple quilted it in a large, loose pattern. What a great gift!
I made this throw for my grandson, Zack Humphrey. He likes this proud indian as much as I do so I framed the panel in special colors from our stock and backed it with our 108” Flowy Gray quilt backing. I quilted it in the Flying Stars Chevron design and it has our Hobbs Heirloom batting inside to keep him warm on those late nights in his big camo recliner! 🙂
This gorgeous quilt was made by Patti Spooner. The depth of the colors contrasting with the black is breathtaking! It’s backed with our Quilters Blenders Majestic Purple quilt backing and has our soft Hobbs Heirloom 80/20 batting inside. I quilted it in a Diamonds design and did the binding. Wow, Patti, you certainly pieced a beautiful quilt!
Katherine Denmark made this adorable quilt for a precious bundle of joy, her grandson Brody! Calm blue water flows around the beach scene and nautical elements. The center is surrounded by an eye catching anchor print and the back is also nautically themed. I quilted it to outline and puff the boats, birds, seashore, beach umbrella and lighthouse in the center with a few shells thrown in just because it’s at the beach. The blocks are quilted in anchors, sailboat and a lighthouse framed with Feather Rope. The balance is quilted with the High Seas design. It has our soft Hobbs Heirloom 80/20 batting inside to keep Brody nice and warm. Katherine sewed the binding by hand and did a great job with this beautiful quilt!
The quilt isn’t antique but the cars are! The cars were hand embroidered by Pat Hammitt’s mother-in-law (Mike’s mother) and Pat asked us to make a quilt out of them, so we did. My sister, Iris and I designed and pieced it using fabrics we carry in the shop, with some help from my daughter, Leigh who sewed many of the piano keys together. I quilted it in “Flights of Fancy.” It’s backed with our 108” Turquoise Tilt-A-Whirl quilt backing with premium Hobbs Heirloom 80/20 batting inside. Makes you want to go for a ride!
