This good looking, colorful quilt featuring diamonds within squares was made by Bonnie Wright. She stripped the blocks with our Tilt-A-Whirl Black 108″ fabric. I quilted it for her in “Flights of Fancy” then she did her own binding. It’s just beautiful Bonne! 🙂
Diane McCombs asked me to make this quilt as a Christmas present for her husband. It’s made from sweatshirts that the kids in his Sunday School class brought back from college and gave him over the years. The fabric used in the quilt including the White Tone on Tone Circles, Red Deck The Halls, Footballs, Black Dream Cotton and the Quilters Blenders Dark Green quilt backing is all from our shop. I quilted it in Footballs & Helmets. A great tribute!
Brenda Jackson asked me to make her a quilt out of all the t-shirts she had saved from Kenny Chesney concerts she has been to. He’s her favorite country music singer! I pieced it together with Cosmos Blue Swirls fabric (which we carry). It is backed with our 108” Quilters Blenders Blue Atoll and the batting is Hobbs Heirloom 80/20 from our shop. I quilted it in music notes and guitars!
This spectacular quilt was made by my aunt, Ruth Barber and sister, Iris Tye Melvin as a gift for me! The design is mine and Iris’s. The gold in the center triangles and the variegated blue fabric in the big blue diamond is accented by touches of metallic gold in the blue swirls. The diamonds are sashed in white and black. A black border frames and sets off the design. The quilt is backed with our 108” Tonal Vineyard Bright Blue quilt backing and I quilted it in an Asian Fan design. It is on our bed now, thank you Aunt Ruth & Iris! 🙂
Jo Johns made this amazingly realistic Attic Window quilt from a Realtree deer panel and three solid colors to produce the attic window effect. It’s backed with our 108″ Tonal Vineyard Natural Khaki quilt backing and has Hobbs Heirloom 80/20 batting inside. I stipple quilted it in a large, loose pattern. What a great gift!
