Patsy Willis made this dinosaur baby quilt from a panel and it’s really cute! It has matching dinosaur names backing so naturally I quilted it in in dinosaurs too! 🙂
My sister, Iris and I made this throw for our aunt, Ruth Barber. She has made so many wonderful quilts for other people so we decided to make one just for her! It’s made in the 3 Dudes Jelly Roll pattern with fabrics from our shop. I quilted it with the Birds In a Bath pattern with lots of spacing to make it soft just like she likes! 🙂
Sonya Wiley bought this quilt top as an antique and brought it to me to quilt. The top features Irises of lavender and violet appliquéd onto ivory and dutch white cotton fabric. After a considerable search we located some lavender material that compliments it perfectly for the backing. I did the binding with the same fabric. It is closely stipple quilted with our premium Hobbs Heirloom 80/20 batting inside. You have a beautiful quilt Sonya!
My sister, Iris Tye Melvin and I made this beautiful Barns & Bridges quilt as a wallhanging for Connie Melzer. It reminds her of the barns and covered bridges of West Virginia. She bought the material from the Amish while visiting the area. Connie also picked out the surrounding colors that just make it work! I quilted it in the pipeline pattern and it’s backed in our 108” wide Quilters Blenders Natural fabric with our soft Hobbs Heirloom batting inside.
I made this special quilt memory for Joslann’s first birthday at the request of her mother, Anna Martin and her grandmother Joanne Parish. It was made from her first year clothes, including her christening dress. The outfits are appliqued on. All of the fabric used in this quilt is all from our shop including the Quilters Blenders Light Pink quilt backing. It is quilted it in the Ribbon Hearts design, which I love!
