This colorful Four Patch ladder pattern quilt was pieced by Ruth Barber as a gift for Jamie and Christie Maphis. The longer I look at it the more shapes and patterns I see! It is backed with our 108” wide Tilt-A-Whirl natural 100% cotton quilt backing and the batting is Hobbs 80/20 Heirloom. I stipple quilted it for her. Beautiful work Aunt Ruth!
My sister, Iris and I made this throw for our aunt, Ruth Barber. She has made so many wonderful quilts for other people so we decided to make one just for her! It’s made in the 3 Dudes Jelly Roll pattern with fabrics from our shop. I quilted it with the Birds In a Bath pattern with lots of spacing to make it soft just like she likes! 🙂
I made this special quilt memory for Joslann’s first birthday at the request of her mother, Anna Martin and her grandmother Joanne Parish. It was made from her first year clothes, including her christening dress. The outfits are appliqued on. All of the fabric used in this quilt is all from our shop including the Quilters Blenders Light Pink quilt backing. It is quilted it in the Ribbon Hearts design, which I love!
I made this Florida Gators throw for my son-in-law, Jason Helms who loves Florida football! 🙂 It features the University of Florida mascot, Albert the alligator pieced with marbled fabric in Orange and Sapphire Blue surrounded by our Tone on Tone White Sunburst print. It is backed with our Quilters Blenders Sapphire Blue quilt backing and is stipple quilted.
This stunning quilt was hand sewn by Mrs. Una Basford. This lovely mosaic quilt features hexagon flowers pieced from different complimentary fabrics. The design of this quilt dates all the way back to around 1770. It is finished with hexagon edging. I quilted it for her granddaughter, Crystal Mercer in the Birds in a Bath pattern. It is backed with our 108” Tonal Vineyard Yellow Quilt Backing.
