Lynn Henderson asked me to make a T-shirt quilt out of the shirts her husband has collected in their travels over the years. He has some great Tees Tees including some special ones from the grandkids and I was happy to help her with this project! It’s sashed with a green and black print that works with the colors and themes of these shirts. The backing is our Quilters Blenders Gold quilt backing and the quilt is filled with soft Hobbs Heirloom 80/20 batting from our shop. I quilted it in a “Diamonds” design with tan thread and made the binding from the same material it’s sashed with. A great way to preserve your T-shirts and memories! 🙂
Angie Pitts made this magical Harry Potter Quilt for her son. It features Harry with his magic wand along with the emblems and colors of the four houses of Hogwarts. The quilt is backed with our Quilters Blenders Navy Blue quilt backing and I quilted it in the Harry Potter Lightning Strikes design. This quilt might just cast a good spell on you! 🙂
Sharon Neel Hauke made this beautiful Red, White and Blue patriotic throw for her uncle who is a veteran. She surrounded the American Eagle panel with squares and blocks of patriotic prints sashed with white then bordered with red and blue. The batting inside is our soft, natural feeling Hobbs Heirloom 80/20 and the back is made from a blue Quilters Blenders print from our shop. I quilted it in a Quilt of Valor design. Sharon, this is a wonderful and enduring tribute to his service!
Patti Spooner made this wonderful quilt for her daughter with Grandma’s handkerchiefs beautifully appliquéd in each block. I quilted it for her in the Fancy Three design. The inside is filled with our soft Hobbs Heirloom quilt backing and it’s backed with our Tone on Tone White Wildflowers quilt backing. Patti, you gave her a priceless gift to treasure forever!
Ann Owens pieced this beautiful quilt in the “Emily’s Wedding Quilt Pattern.” It’s a wonderful piece of work! As in the original pattern, the design is bordered with four strips of complimenting colors. The quilt sandwich is filled with our soft Hobbs Heirloom 80/20 batting. I quilted it for her in an Asian Fan design. It’s a beautiful quilt Ann! 🙂
I made this Pink Lemonade Quilt for a special young lady named Alyssa. She picked out the colors and said she really wanted her name on it So that’s exactly what she got. I appliquéd her name on it in bold (just like her!) letters. All the fabric is from our shop, the purple is Marblecious, the hot pink is a Tonal Vineyard, the back is Quilters Blenders Light Pink. I quilted it in Flights of Fancy for her. Enjoy it Alyssa! 🙂
Sharon Hauke made this adorable jelly roll throw for her daughter. It’s made from a jelly roll of vibrant pink prints connected by turquoise squares. The throw is backed and bound with a wavy striped turquoise print from our shop. Inside the quilt is our Hobbs Heirloom batting which makes it nice and soft without being too heavy. I quilted it in a loose stipple for her and did the binding. A fun and delightful project!
