Eight Point Star Quilt Restoration

James Mills brought me this quilt that his Grandmother made many years ago and asked me to restore it.  I was able to save 10 complete blocks, which was as much of the original quilt as possible and made new ones from fabric I was able to recover from damaged squares and complimentary prints.  The new back that James chose is made from our Black Overtone Willowy Flowers 108” quilt backing.  The quilt is filled with soft Hobbs Heirloom 80/20 batting.  I quilted it in an Aztec design.  James was giving the quilt to his brother as a birthday present so he would have something special their Grandma made!  🙂
